What does the Maple Sugar Producers of Quebec do?

Since the maple season is very short, maple syrup is stored by Maple Sugar Producers of Quebec in 70,000 litre/200,000 lb vats until needed. These vats are specially designed to eliminate the effects of aging on the syrup's taste.

 
The maple syrup is then tested, refiltered, bottled as CAMP, Citadelle, or another brand and shipped around the world throughout the year.

The Maple Sugar Producers of Quebec works hard to expand the Pure Maple Syrup market, something individual maple producers could not achieve on their own.
